This isn’t just about surviving the new normal. It’s about mastering it, and honing it into your sharpest edge.

If the job posting says “facilitate cross-functional collaboration,” don’t just say “great communicator.” Instead, say: “Led cross-functional teams to align product, marketing, and sales strategies.” You’re translating your experience into their vocabulary — and the bots will reward you for it.
3. Use AI to Tune Your Resume for Maximum Match to the Job Description. Tools like ChatGPT can quickly highlight where your resume aligns with the job’s requirements, and where it falls short. Paste your resume and a job description and ask:
“What’s missing? Where can I better mirror their language?”

AI systems analyze your clarity, relevance, and consistency with your application. The best defense: repetition and prep using employer language and priorities.
9. Nail Behavioral Answers With the STAR Method. Despite changes, interviews still focus on familiar behavioral questions. Most AI and human interviews want examples:
